Medical Care – General Information

The Edmonton Sport Institute has provided primary medical care including musculoskeletal evaluation and treatment as well as orthopedic consultations since 1993. We are very proud of the commitment and dedication of our physicians in their leading roles in providing quality and effective non-surgical and surgical care of musculoskeletal injuries.

Primary medical care

Dr. Randy Gregg – Primary care MSK physician

Dr. Shirdi Nulliah – Primary care MSK physician

Dr. Randy Gregg is a full time primary care physician at ESI who has a special interest in assisting individuals with acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions. Dr. Gregg is available at the clinic between 8am and 5pm from Monday to Friday. Dr. Shirdi Nulliah is a sports medicine physician who sees patients at ESI on a weekly basis. Referrals are not required to be seen by Dr. Nullaih. Appointments may be booked directly with our reception staff or through referrals from local family physicians.

Orthopedic Surgical Consultations

The Edmonton Sport Institute is pleased to have 6 experienced orthopedic surgeons who see referred patients at the clinic on a monthly basis. These surgeons evaluate individuals with injuries or conditions who are established as surgical candidates by Dr. Gregg. If surgery is deemed to be required, arrangements for the surgery are made directly with the orthopedic surgeon’s office. The ESI orthopedic surgeons include:
